Re-Animator: Dawn of the Re-animator (Re-Animator: Dawn of the Re-animator #2)

Erich Metler, finally reveals himself and the stories about his cruelty are no exaltation. He murder's his sex slave's lover in front of her. He demands her loyalty while her loves life drains away into the arms of Erich's zombie fighter.

Meanwhile, Dr. Herbert West shows up at Elena Grubers hotel room with the crazy story that her father, Professor Hans Gruber's, grave has been emptied and his body stolen. Elena doesn't belie the doctor, but when he pulls a gun she is forced to go along.

At the graveyard, upon seeing her father's empty grave, Elena first accuses West but he is able to convince her otherwise. She agrees to help him find the body instead of being an enemy.

Back at Metler compound, his hired goons bring him the body if Hans, and he uses voodoo powers to bring Hans back to life. The zombie then murders some of Metler's goons, all proving Metler has pure control over his new creation.

A few days later after one of the university board meetings about if West should be fired, West is approached by Dr. Fredric Sanderson. He has some letters from Hans that might be helpful to West and invites West and Elena to meet at his house the next night.

West and Elena knowing that it is a trap, but before they can figure what the trap is they are attacked by one of Metler's zombies and it looks like the end for Herbert West.
