Journey to Tomioka

After the Fukushima disaster, siblings Osamu and Akiko had to leave their home behind. Now they're being raised by their grandmother, Bā-chan, in a refugee camp outside the forbidden zone. Akiko does her best to move on while Osamu withdraws into his own world. His only friends are yōkai - magical and mischievous spirits only he can see.

When Bā-chan passes away, the siblings are determined to return her ashes to their family farm in Tomioka. On a pair of stolen bikes, and with the local police force in pursuit, they journey back to Fukushima's forbidden zone. There, they will face yōkai and dangerous radiation - but they’re willing to risk it all to make it home.
