Jack Harlem is a flatfoot detective stuck in an imagined past and resistant to the cyborg future of humanity. He lives in Zap City a sprawling, Colourful, William Gibson-esque , culture shock, cyber punk , always on electronic city. With a mysteriously sick daughter, he fights against obsolescence and chases down bounties to pay for her operations.
