Slow Storm

Story and art by Danica Novgorodoff. When an illegal immigrant and a firefighter are thrown together by a thunderstorm, their lives begin to change. This literary graphic novel is a story of homesickness, horses, storms, and saints, told in watercolors by an exciting new talent. Danica's first comic, A Late Freeze, was the winner of the Isotope Award for Excellence in Mini-Comics, and subsequently nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Single Issue.
