Having successfully protected the high maintenance and headstrong Princess all the way from Paris through Germany, Austria and Hungary, the train is now steaming its way through the infamous area in Romania known to us as Transylvania. This is the realm of Gothic and Slavic mythology which has been the wellspring of many vampire inspired horror stories, as well as fairy tales. So brace yourselves, as the Phantom and the Princess are far from any sanctuary with many more miles by land and sea to traverse.
